Líbero Parri Romero (born 18 January 1982 in Burjassot, Valencian Community) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
Over the course of a career spanning 12 years he appeared in a total of 211 games in Segunda División and scored 34 goals, representing seven clubs mainly Albacete (four seasons in the category, five in total). In La Liga he played 57 matches in three campaigns, with Albacete, Valencia and Racing de Santander.
Football career
A gifted attacking player who emerged from Valencia CF's youth system, Parri never established himself with the local side's first team. During the 2000–01 season he made his first two – and only – La Liga appearances, against CA Osasuna and Racing de Santander, and finished the campaign with neighbouring side Elche CF.
After another second division loan Parri was acquired by Albacete Balompié, where he would play four campaigns (including 2003–04's top division), also being loaned in 2004–05 to Racing Santander, also in the main category. From 2007 to 2009 another two seasons in the second level ensued, at Cádiz CF and Levante UD, the latter also in the Valencian Community (loaned by Cádiz).[1]
In August 2009 Parri broke ties with Cádiz,[2] but stayed in the second division, quickly penning a one-year contract with Gimnàstic de Tarragona.[3] In late June 2010, he was released after one unassuming season – 14 games out of 42, 271 minutes of play.[4]
