Count László Szapáry de Szapár, Muraszombat et Széchy-Sziget (November 22, 1831 – September 28, 1883) was a Hungarian general, freedom fighter during the 1848 revolution. After the defeat he emigrated to Italy where fight in the Second Italian War of Independence. He participated in the Battle of Solferino. Szapáry had played a leading role in the Austro-Hungarian occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1878.
He was the fourth son of Count Ferenc Szapáry and Rozália Almásy. He married to Marianne (née Gräfin von Grünne) on April 28, 1862. They had four children: Károly István László, Ferdinándina, Frigyes and Ilona.
