László is a Hungarian male given name and surname after the King-Knight Saint Ladislaus I of Hungary (1077–1095). Other versions are Laszlo, Lazlo or Laszly and it is frequently translated as Leslie. The original Slavic Vladislav name meaning is 'one who commands glory'.
