Kylie Kristen Jenner (born August 10, 1997) is an American reality television star, model and brand ambassador for Seventeen. She is known for appearing on the E! reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she shares with her family.

In 2013, Jenner released an exclusive collection under PacSun, designed alongside her sister, Kendall.[1]

Personal life

Kylie Jenner was born in Calabasas, California. She is the second daughter of William Bruce Jenner and Kristen "Kris" Mary Jenner (born 1955; formerly Kardashian, née Houghton). She has an older sister, Kendall Nicole (born 1995). Through her mother's side, she has three older half-sisters: Kourtney Mary (born 1979), Kimberly Noel "Kim" (born 1980) and Khloé Alexandria (born 1984), and one half-brother Robert Arthur "Rob" Kardashian (born 1987). From her father, she has three older half-brothers: Burton William "Burt" (born 1978), Brandon Thompson (born 1981), and Sam Brody (born 1983), and an older half-sister, Casey Jenner (born 1980).

Jenner was a cheerleader at Sierra Canyon School, but began homeschooling in September 2012.[2][3]

Career

Kylie Jenner was first featured in Paper's "Beautiful People" article series with her sister Kendall.[4] She began her modeling career with the Sears line "Crush Your Style", and has done photo shoots with OK! magazine,[5] Teen Vogue, and photographer Nick Saglimbeni. Jenner has also modeled for her cousin Natasha's clothing company. She has expressed an interest in acting as well, but has explained that college is a greater priority.[6]

Jenner has modeled for Canadian singer Avril Lavigne's collection Abbey Dawn Runway in 2011 New York Fashion Week. She modeled for the official Hello Kitty Launch for American clothing retailer Forever 21 in Los Angeles.[7] Seventeen chose Jenner and her sister Kendall as Style Stars of 2011 and as the new 'Style Ambassadors' for the magazine.[citation needed] Jenner and Kendall hosted red carpet events for Glee: The 3D Concert Movie and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in Los Angeles. The two also did an interview in the Bing Box at The Hunger Games premiere on March 12, 2012.

Jenner has two nail lacquers from the Nicole by OPI nail polish brand called Wear Something Spar-kylie and Rainbow in the S-kylie. Rainbow in the S-kylie is a best seller in the whole Kardashian Kolor nail polish line.[citation needed] Jenner appeared on the cover of Seventeen's Back-To-School September issue along with her older sister, Kendall.

On February 8, 2013, PacSun announced Jenner and Kendall and would be launching a spring women's clothing line designed and inspired by the Jenner sisters called "Kendall & Kylie" available exclusively at PacSun.[8]

On March 14, 2013, PacSun announced that there would be a summer clothing collection available online and in store March 29, 2013.[9]
