Kyaukme District

Kyaukme District is a district of northern Shan State in Burma (Myanmar). As of 2001, it consisted of 9 towns and 1946 villages.
Townships
As of 2010 the district contained the following townships:
- Kyaukme Township
- Nawnghkio Township
- Hsipaw Township
- Namtu Township
- Mongmit Township
- Mabein Township
- Mongnog Township
Prior to August 2010, the district also included Namhsan Township, which together with Mantong Township from Mu Se District were transferred that month to the newly created Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone.[1]
