Kyaukkyi Township is a township in Taungoo District in the Bago Region of Burma (Myanmar).[1] The principal town and administrative seat is Kyaukkyi.
History
Karen insurgents have held portions of the area since World War II.[2] Insurgents were still active in the township as of 2007.[3]
