Kwakowo [kfaˈkɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Kobylnica, 11 km (7 mi) south of Słupsk, and 105 km (65 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany, when the place was called Quackenburg. The estate was a property of the von Blumenthal family. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
