Kurt Dunder

Kurt Dunder is a Danish cartoon drawn and written by Frank Madsen. The main characters are the pipe smoking adventurer Kurt and his friend Bill, which together with the monkey Attila travel around the world and solve strange mysteries and riddles.

The cartoon is drawn in the ligne claire style also known from The Adventures of Tintin. It is published by the Danish publishing house Carlsen.

2002-03 the cartoon magazine Kurt Dunder & Kompagni, containing the history Kurt Dunder & Nanobotterne. This story will be published as a 100 pages book in Mangaformat fall 2008. A 6 pages Kurt Dunder-story, Den månesyge Mumie (The moonstruck mummy), which was published 1993 in the anthology Gale Streger no. 6. It was written by Ingo Milton, layouted by Frank Madsen and drawn by Sussi Bech.

Spring 2008 Kurt Dunder will be published in a number of European Countries as an interactive mobile phone cartoon from Catooz.com.
