Design details |
In many campaign settings for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, Kuraulyek is the patron deity of urds.
Publication history
Kuraulyek was first detailed in the book Monster Mythology (1992), including details about his priesthood.[1]
Realm
Kuraulyek's realm of Urdsrest can be found on the Gray Waste of Hades. He hides in this gloomy cave in Hades, seldom leaving his dismal home. The lair is defended by a force of monstrous mobats.
Description
Kuraulyek appears as a blue-skinned urd with feathered wings. He rides a huge bat. Feathers can be plucked from his wings, which turn into air elementals.
Relationships
Kuraulyek was once a servant of Kurtulmak who stole a pair of magical wings from Syranita, and created the urds to be the rivals of kobolds.
