Kunda (Hindi: कुण्डा) is a town and nagar panchayat in Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Kunda is 43.7 km from Pratapgarh and 138 km from Lucknow.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Kunda had a population of 7822. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kunda has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 61.85%, and female literacy is 40.31%.[3]
