Kund is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 32°24'40N 72°12'17E.[2]
Importance
This area of district Khushab is important for their agriculture values. Wheat, rice and sugar cane are the main crops of this land. The Muhajar branch canal is the only canal in Pakistan which is falling in opposite side of all Pakistan rivers. Kund Union council includes villages of Kund, Basti Sher wali(Naara), Chanki, Hayro, Kathwai, Chapphar Shareef, Sagrali, and Bharkin.
