Kumble R. Subbaswamy, Ph.D. currently serves as chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His tenure began 1 July 2012.[2] Subbaswamy's immediate past position was provost at the University of Kentucky. He replaced Robert C. Holub as chancellor at UMass.
