Krzeczewo [kʂɛˈt͡ʂɛvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barciany, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Barciany, 22 km (14 mi) north-west of Kętrzyn, and 70 km (43 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
