Krotoszyce [krɔtɔˈʂɨt͡sɛ] (German: Kroitsch) is a village in Legnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Krotoszyce. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Legnica and 70 km (43 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
