Kritika Kamra (pronounced [krɪʈʰɪkaː kaːmraː]; born 25 October 1988[2]) is an Indian television actress. She is well known for her popular roles in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and Kitani Mohabbat Hai.[3]
Personal life
Kritika Kamra is from Madhya Pradesh and did her schooling from Delhi Public School, New Delhi. She was pursing her graduation in NIFT. She left her graduation midway because of her show Kitani Mohabbat Hai.[citation needed] As she always wanted to complete her studies, now she is doing her graduation in Arts in Mumbai.[citation needed]
Career
Kritika landed her first television role in 2008 as Arshiya in Yahan Ke Hum Sikander. However, her big break came when she was chosen to play the role of Arohi Sharma in Balaji Telefilms' Kitani Mohabbat Hai.[4] The show became extremely popular. After it went off air in 2009, it was brought back for another season.[5] Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2 went off air in 2011.[5]
Kamra recently essayed the lead role of Dr. Nidhi, a bubbly woman who fell in love with a doctor nearly 18 years older than her, in Sony Entertainment Television India's soap opera, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.[6]
She is also doing a cameo in the Balaji Telefilms soap opera The Serial on Channel V.[7]
She has also done a role in Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms mini-series Ek Thhi Naayka for the promotion of film Ek Thi Daayan.
