Krishen Khanna

Krishen Khanna (1925 - ) is a famous Indian artist born in Faislabad, Pakistan. He attended Imperial Service College in England and is a self-taught artist. [1] He is recipient of Rockefeller Fellowship in 1962 and Padma Shri in 1990.
Early Life
After attending Imperial Serfice College from 1938-1942, he enrolled himself in Government College, Lahore from 1942-1944. In 1946 he started working with Grindlays Bank for 14 years. In 1961 he resigned from the bank and devoted his full time to art. [2]
