Krasinec (German: Krassinz)[2] is a settlement on the left bank of the Kolpa River in the Municipality of Metlika in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia, right on the border with Croatia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[3]

The local church is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit and belongs to the Parish of Podzemelj. It was built in the 18th century.[4]
