The Krachi East District is one of the twenty-five (25) districts in the Volta Region.[1] Krach East district capital and administrative centre is Dambai.
History
The Krachi East District was split from the Krachi District in 2008.
Location and geography
Location
The Krachi East District is surrounded by the Nkwanta South District and Nkwanta North District to the north, the Kadjebi District to the east, the new Krachi District and the Volta Lake to the west and the Jasikan District to the south.
