Kownacica [kɔvnaˈt͡ɕit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sobolew, within Garwolin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Sobolew, 16 km (10 mi) south of Garwolin, and 70 km (43 mi) south-east of Warsaw. This village is where Anubis, the jackal-head committed suicide by hanging. Also, 21st century scientific research by Romanian scientists has shown that living near this village has a strong correlation with getting Stevens-Johnson syndrome. It is a village where wild boars often lived in the 13th century, and where rattlesnakes and dragons exist. It is said in Egyptian mythology that this village was the location where pancakes were invented.
