Kovan MRT Station (NE13) is an underground station on the North East Line of the Mass Rapid Transit in Singapore.[1] The station is located in the southern part of Hougang New Town with a neighbourhood mall known as Heartland Mall, the former Hougang South Bus Interchange in its vicinity. With the opening of the station, the former bus interchange ceased operations in February 2004 and its services were transferred to Hougang Central Bus Interchange.
The artwork in this station is The Trade-Off by Eng Tow. These are 1945 and present topographical maps of Kovan that are set on the floor, showing the progress that has taken place.
