Kourou Monastiri (Greek: Κουρού Μοναστήρι, Turkish: Çukurova) is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, located 8 km east of Kythrea. Even before 1974, the town was almost exclusively inhabited by Turkish Cypriots. [2]
