Koti Lingala

Kotilingala in Karimnagar was the capital of Assakajanapada, considered one of the 16 great janapadas of early India.[1] It is located on the bank of the Godavari River, and has a traditional Shiva temple for Hindus, the Sundareshwara Swamy Temple.
There were transportation facilities to the towns located on river Godavari bank such as Bhadrachalam.
