Kothapet is a major suburb of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. After Dilsukhnagar, this is the prime location of this region that has high potential growth rate for new malls and multi plex theaters. The old Ranga Reddy High Court complex is now taken on lease by the reputed GVK group to construct a shopping complex and the front face of Victoria Memorial home (VM Home) is taken by Reliance group for similar purpose. History
Victoria Memorial Home, is a building constructed by the Britishers is also in Kothapet. VM Home in short, is used and shown as villain's den in many Telugu movies and few Hindi movies too.
A major district court is also located in this suburb. Dilsukhnagar Sai baba temple is a famous temple located near to the main road leading towards LB nagar.
