Kota Sugiyama (杉山 浩太 Sugiyama Kōta, born 24 January 1985 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese football midfielder currently playing for J. League Division 1 team Shimizu S-Pulse.[1] Sugiyama was a member of the S-Pulse Youth academy before signing full-time terms with the club for the start of the 2003 season. In 2008 and 2009 he played on loan for Kashiwa Reysol. He returned to S-Pulse for the 2010 season.
