Kostelec is a village and municipality (obec) in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.08 square kilometres (1.96 sq mi), and has a population of 808 (as at 1 January 2008).
Kostelec lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Hodonín, 44 km (27 mi) south-east of Brno, and 230 km (143 mi) south-east of Prague.
