Korek Telecom

Korek Telecom is a Kurdish mobile phone operator company in Pirmam, Hawler, in South Kurdistan. It is a "shared limited company registered in Kurdistan to operate and provide GSM services"; its network covers all of Kurdistan and Iraq.[1] Korek Telecom has 350 employees, almost all of whom are Kurds.[2]
In March 2011, France Télécom (now Orange S.A.) acquired a 20% indirect stake in Korek Telecom.[3]
