Korean rock is rock music originated from South Korea.[1]

History

Korean rock started in the late 1950s with Shin Jung-hyun and his band. While this was happening, Shin Jung-hyun was able to develop a distinctly Korean style of rock And roll. Finally in 1962, Shin Jung-hyun formed his first rock band in Korea, Add 4.[2]
