Korean-style carrot
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Korean-style carrot (Морковь по-корейски) is a Koryo-saram variant of carrot salad and Kimchi. Koryo-saram (ethnic Koreans located in post-Soviet Russia) created the dish as they did not have supplies of Napa cabbage, the main ingredient in traditional Kimchi. The dish is found throughout post-Soviet Russia today. It is known as Koreyscha Sabzili Salat in Uzbekistan.[1]
