Korbinian Holzer (born February 16, 1988) is a German professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League whilst under contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

Playing career

Holzer was drafted 111th overall in the 4th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.[1] He began the 2010–11 NHL season with the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. On November 3, 2010, he was recalled from the minors to make his NHL debut on November 6, 2010.[2]

He was recalled by the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 5th, 2013 and scored on just the fourth shot of his NHL career, against Michal Neuvirth of the Washington Capitals.

International

Holzer has represented the German national team in the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 IIHF World Championship.[3]
