Kopanie [kɔˈpaɲe] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) east of Skarbimierz, 11 km (7 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 28 km (17 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 100.
