Allan P. Grigg,[1] also known as Kool Kojak, is a multi-platinum Brazilian-American songwriter, producer, film director, and artist notable for co-writing and co-producing Flo Rida’s #1 Billboard[2] hit single “Right Round”, Nicki Minaj's hit single "Va Va Voom" , and Ke$ha's top 10 single "Blow".[3] Kool Kojak has written and produced for artists such as Yelle, Icona Pop, Matisyahu, Travis Barker, Dr. Seuss's The Lorax (film), Britney Spears, N.A.S.A.,[4] Dirt Nasty, Andy Milonakis,[5] Lordz of Brooklyn, Ursula 1000,[6] and Warren G. Kool Kojak was a featured producer on the Simon Cowell TV program X Factor, has appeared as himself on the hit Nickelodeon show "Victorious", and in many music videos. Kool Kojak has won two ASCAP Pop Awards and one ASCAP Urban Award, a WormTown Sound Award, and has been awarded the Key to the City of Worcester, Massachusetts . Kool Kojak is a member of the Prescription Songs empire, a hot sauce ambassador for Gringo Bandito Hot Sauce, who sometimes spells his name KoOoLkOjAk.
Early life and music career
Kool Kojak was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. Kojak initially entered the world of music in the 1990s, producing rap records in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Harlem. His first big commercial success was as composer and producer of the Brazilian multi platinum selling #1 Supla album "O Charada Brasileiro".[7]
Kojak served as musical director and performer for the live Supla show, which took the stage at Rock in Rio 3, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2001.

Art
Kool Kojak is a known graffiti artist and sculptor in the USA and Brazil. His body of art includes an album cover for Ultramagnetic MCs and countless New York City murals he painted for Free Tibet Campaign. In Brazil, Kool Kojak has provided hiphop and graffiti symposiums for city run youth programs in the Favelas of São Paulo. He has painted murals with many of Brazil’s top artists, such as Os Gêmeos, Vitche, and Juneca. In 2103, Kool Kojak auctioned off a graffiti sculpture to benefit Pete Carroll's charity A Better L.A. Collectors of KoOoL kOjAk artwork include The Disney Corporation, Claude Kelly, Martin Johnson, Dr. Luke, Peter Svensson, Ammo Pro, and many more.
