Konstantin Vassiljev (born 16 August 1984 in Tallinn) is an Estonian professional footballer, who plays in Russian Premier League, for Amkar Perm. He plays the position of midfielder and is 1.75 m tall and weighs 72 kg. He is also a member of the Estonia national football team.
Club career
Early career
Vassiljev made his first-team debut for Tallinna Jalgpalliklubi at the age of 16 in 2001. In the same season he had short spell with HÜJK Emmaste. A year later he joined FC Levadia Tallinn.
FC Levadia
He started the 2007 season as Levadia's captain, but was relegated to Levadia's reserve team, after refusing to sign a contract extension with the club.[2][3] At the age of 23, after five seasons at Levadia Tallinn, Vassiljev moved abroad.
NK Nafta
In February 2008, he signed a 1-year contract with Slovenian PrvaLiga club NK Nafta Lendava. He played his first PrvaLiga match on 2 March 2008, in a 2–0 defeat against NK MIK CM Celje.[4][5] He scored his first PrvaLiga goal on March 16, 2008, in the 17th minute in a 1–2 defeat against NK Drava Ptuj.[6]
FC Koper
In February 2011, he signed 2 and a half-year contract with Slovenian PrvaLiga club FC Koper.[7] He scored his first goal for Koper on April 3, 2011, in a 3–0 win against NK Maribor.
FC Amkar Perm
In August 2011, he signed 3 year contract with Russian Premier League club FC Amkar Perm.[8]

International career
For Estonia national football team, Vassiljev is capped 66 times, scoring 17 goals. He made his national team debut on 31 May 2006 against New Zealand in a friendly match.[9] He scored his first international goal against Armenia on 28 March 2009. In a 2–0 friendly win over Uruguay, he scored his 10th goal and gave an assist.[10] In January 2012 FIFA decided to revoke the result from the game against Bulgaria due to confirmed case of bribery and fraud by the referees.[11] For Konstantin Vassiljev this meant he'd be stripped from two goals he had scored in that game from penalties, lowering the overall number of his goals back to 13 at given time.
