Konsole is a free terminal emulator which is part of KDE Software Compilation. Konsole was originally written by Lars Doelle.
The KDE applications Konqueror, Krusader, Kate,[1] Konversation, Dolphin and KDevelop use Konsole to provide embedded terminal functionality via Kpart.
