Kondapuram is a small town and a mandal in Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located on the banks of the river Chitravathi at the western area of Kadapa district. It borders Anantapur District, and is 25 kilometres from Tadipatri. Kondapuram Railway Station is on the Cuddapah-Gooty section of the South Central Railways. The Kondapuram population was 38,684 at the 2001 census.
Tourist attractions include the Hindu temple of Sree Bala Malleswara Swamy(Balappakona).
