Kolnica [kɔlˈnit͡sa] (German Lichtenberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Grodków, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Grodków, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Brzeg, and 43 km (27 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has an approximate population of 1,000.
