Kolamaafushi (Dhivehi: ކޮލަމާފުށި) is one of the inhabited islands of Gaafu Alif Atoll.

It is one of the remotest islands in the Huvadhu Atoll, being about 20km away from the closest inhabited island. The island is connected to the nearby Kolaa island by a narrow causeway.

Statistics

The total population of Kolamaafushi is 1530. There are 728 women (Below 18- 362, Between 18 to 65- 351, over 65- 15) and 802 men (Under 18 years-429, 18 – 65 years-348, Over 65 years-25).

Economy

Traditionally, its economic activity is pole and line fishing for Tuna (Skipjacks, Yellowfins, Big-eyes ets) using modern mechanized boats.
