Koira is a village in Sundargarh District, Orissa, India.
Geography
It is located at 21°55′0″N 85°14′0″E / 21.91667°N 85.23333°E at an elevation of 590 m above MSL.[1]
Koira has abundant deposits of iron ore and manganese ore. More than 100 mines are operated in the area. Patmunda is the main reserve of manganese. Rungta Group, Adhunik Group, S.R. Group, and Aryan Group are the major companies operating there.[2]
