Kohlu (Balochi: کوہلو) is the capital of Kohlu District in Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located at 29°54'0N 69°15'0E with an altitude of 1183 metres (3884 feet).[1] The Marri tribe is main ethnic group in the city.
Educational institutions consist of six english medium schools, and an intermediate college; as of 2013 a cadet college is under construction. About 87% of the population consists of the Marri tribe, 10% Zarkun, the other 3% are mixed tribes living there.[citation needed]
