Knieja [ˈkɲeja] (German Kneja) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zębowice, within Olesno County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Recently, the district has been devastated by a tornado. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Zębowice, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Olesno, and 27 km (17 mi) east of the regional capital Opole.
