Kleppe is a village in, and the administrative centre of, the municipality of Klepp, in the county of Rogaland, Norway.

"Kleppe" comes from the old Nordic word "kleppr": stone, hill. The village itself has around 3,000 inhabitants - but including the neighboring Verdalen the area has 7,348 (2009 "urban settlement" statistics from Statistics Norway).
