History

  • 1 April 1921 - Open as JGR Kiyamaguchi Signal Box.
  • 5 August 1921 - Started Passenger Service and renamed to Kiyama Station.
  • 28 April 1939 - Amagi Line opened to traffic.
  • 1 April 1986 - JNR Amagi Line inherited by Amagi Railway.
  • 1 April 1987 - Railways privatize and JNR Kiyama station is inherited by JR Kyushu.
