Kitaazumi District, Nagano

Kitaazumi (北安曇郡 Kita-Azumi-gun) is a district in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 36,547 and a density of 57.31 persons per km².[citation needed] The total area is 637.66 km².

- On January 1, 2006 the villages of Yasaka and Miasa merged into the city of Ōmachi.[citation needed]
