Kirovske (Ukrainian: Кіровське; Russian: Кировское; Crimean Tatar: İslâm Terek) (until 1944, İslâm Terek) is an urban-type settlement in Crimea, located in southern Ukraine. The town also serves as the administrative center of the Kirovske Raion (district), housing the district's local administration buildings.[2] Nearby the town is an military airbase of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.[3][4]
As of the 2001 Ukrainian Census, its population is 7,431.[2]
