Kingsthorpe College (KC), formerly Kingsthorpe Community College (and Kingsthorpe Upper School afore that) is a secondary school with academy status in Kingsthorpe, Northamptonshire. The school is set on one site, which is located on Boughton Green Road. It was previously on two sites, the other being located next to Welford Road, which is located on the A5199. The college is a so-called 'sports college', after changing from being a Language College and a former ICT College . It is next to the main site of the University of Northampton allowing easy access and use to their facilities. The headteacher is Mrs Judith.Long'. The year groups are now separated vertically into five colour "houses", namely Green, Gold, Purple, Red and Blue. In 2012, Kingsthorpe College became a member of the 'Collaborative Academies Trust.
