Kingdom of Heaven is a phrase used in the following ways:

  • A term (Greek: βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν) used in the Gospel of Matthew in preference to the "kingdom of God" (Greek: βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ) of Mark and Luke, thought to be the main content of Jesus's preaching, described by Edward Schillebeeckx as referring to "a process, a course of events, whereby God begins to govern or to act as king or Lord, an action, therefore, by which God manifests his being-God in the world of men".[1]
  • Kingdom of Heaven (film), a 2005 film, directed by Ridley Scott
  • Kingdom of Heaven, the name of a communal religious group led by William W. Davies near Walla Walla, Washington from 1867 to 1881
  • "Kingdom of Heaven", a song appearing on the 1966 album The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators by the 13th Floor Elevators
