Kind of Love is the second, and first full length album, by Japanese rock band Mr. Children released on December 1, 1992.
The album debuted on the Japanese Oricon music charts at #13 and sold 1,179,780 copies during its run on the chart.[1] The album contains only one single released on December 1, 1992, titled "Dakishimetai" (抱きしめたい). The first track on the album, "Niji no kanata e" (虹の彼方へ), was also used as the theme song to Japanese animation Shonan Bakusozoku9 Omae to ore no Good Luck! (湘南爆走族9・お前と俺のGOOD LUCK!).[2] Kind of Love also marks the debut of drummer Hideya Suzuki as one of the vocalist for the album and the use of U.S productions for an album.
