Career

In 2010, Yura joined as an official member of Girl's Day alongside Hyeri when Jiin and Jisun left the group in September 2010 just two months after the group debuted.[3]

In early 2012, Yura starred alongside Jang Woo Hyuk in Chinese drama Secret Angel.[4]

Yura joined her label mate Jevice in their debuting song called "I Want to Love Now".[5]

Lawsuit

On November 8, 2010, Yura's ex-management company Action Music Entertainment sued Yura for breaking her contract with their company. Yura was supposed to become a member of 4 girl group under Action Music Entertainment, prior to joining Girl's Day. The 4 member girl group under Action Music Entertainment was then halted indefinitely. According to Yura's side, she was not supported by Action Music Entertainment and through due process her contract was canceled. The lawsuit became messy with Action Music Entertainment insisting they had a video of Yura's unacceptable behavior. On January 20, 2011, the court ruled in Yura's favor.[7]
