Kim Myhr (born 17 December 1981 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian Jazz musician (guitar) and composer.[1]

Career

Myhr is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston (2005)[2] and has since lived alternately in Trondheim, Köln, Paris and Sydney. He released his own compositions on the album Bordello Music (2004) within the ensemble «Kilombo», within «Spin Ensemble» releasing an album in 2006, and on the album Stems And Cages with the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra.[3]

Recent projects include collaboration with musicians from Australia Jim Denley, Frence Sebastien Roux and Benoit Delbecq, and Norway Ingar Zach to mention a few.[2]

Myhr is involved in chamber music and quiet improvisational music, and also organizes a festival in Trondheim with Håvard Volden and Martin Taxt, called «Fri Resonans» international festival of improvised music.[3]
