Kilmessan (Irish: Cill Mheasáin meaning "Church of Messan"[1]) is a village in County Meath, Ireland.

Sport

Kilmessan GAA club plays hurling. The men won the Leinster Championships in 2009 and are always strong contenders for the Meath championship title[2] Kilmessan Bowls Club - affiliated to IIBA. [3]
