Kids Help Phone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kids Help Phone (Jeunesse, J’écoute in French), is Canada's only free, professional counselling service available for youth in every Canadian community.[1] It provides anonymous phone and online counselling and referral and information services for children and youth.[2] Founded May 16, 1989, the service provides counselling to youth who seek it by calling a toll-free number or posting anonymously on their website.
As a charity, Kids Help Phone receives no core government or United Way funding. Instead, it relies on the support of community-based volunteers and individual and corporate donors for financial support.[3]
